Don’t “FALL” Back!
As the summer comes to an end… don’t be sad because the BEST part of golf season is just beginning! Fall in Virginia is so gorgeous. The weather is cooler, the courses are in their best shape and its a wonderful time to continue working on your game.
If you are a new golfer or thinking about getting into golf but haven’t had the chance this summer to get started… its not too late.
TIP: Don’t “fall” back in your swing. A balanced follow through is a very important part of the swing. Even though it happens after impact, it reflects the control you have and path the club was swinging through impact. Try and work on holding a complete (all your weight on your front leg) follow through for 3-5 secconds at the end of each swing. If you can do that, your shots should be more consistent as well.
FALL 2010 Programs

NEW! JUNIOR PLAYERS LEAGUE -Thursdays Afterschool ages 10-17 $200 for 6 weeks. Includes green fees, prizes, favor and professional supervision/instruction in warmups and on-course.
Players will be sent out in groups by skill level and age.
Week one, 4:30pm-7pm
Week 2-6, starting times will vary based on group placement.
Week 6- Prizes will be given to Group winners after play
GIRLS GOLF CLUB Starts Sept 14th. A one hour clinic on tuesdays fomr 5-6pm. 6 weeks $150 per girl includes a cool favor and weekly prizes!
ADULT GROUP CLASSES RESUME NEXT WEEK!
Skill Development and Intro to Golf Classes are on the schedule. There is an Intro Class starting next TUESDAY Aug. 17th 6pm- still space available!
